A New System for Mr. and Mrs. Frommel.
Mr. and Mrs. Frommel's old package heat pump had seen its better days. It had been leaking refrigerant for some time, and now was not defrosting properly. They had just recently purchased the home, which had an addition on the back of the house that had been built after the original heat pump was installed. The old unit was not sized to take care of the additional space, and no ductwork had been run in the addition. The prior owners had installed a wood-burning stove in the addition, then evidently installed gas logs in it. The Frommel's decided to start from scratch, and have a new heat pump system and properly sized ductwork installed through the TVA Energy Right Heat Pump Program. They also decided to install a more attractive cast-iron stove/gas log combination in the addition. After reviewing several bids, they chose our company to install their new American Standard 12 S.E.E.R./7.25 H.S.P.F. Package Heat Pump with a new duct system, including ductwork for the new addition. We also furnished and installed the quality Vanguard gas logs and cast-iron stove. The Frommel's now enjoy a more quiet, energy-efficient central heating and cooling system with a 10-year parts and labor warranty!
